 Ribose has been used in patients taking all forms of cardiovascular, neuromuscular, and psychotropic drugs, all without report of adverse reactions. Many of the more common cardiovascular drugs, most notably inotropic agents, have been studied in association with ribose. In every case, there has been no effect on the action of the drug.
